  • How do I get to Vieques Island/ the Retreat House? 

  • Book your flights to San Juan Airport (SJU). 

  • From here you have two options : 

    1. Take a taxi to Ceiba then the ferry to Vieques 

    2. Take another flight to Vieques, PR 

  • Is a passport required to visit Puerto Rico?

    • Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the USA. A passport is NOT required to travel. 

  • When should I plan to arrive/depart?

    • Plan on arriving to Vieques by 3pm on first day of retreat and plan on departing the Retreat House on the final morning at 9:30AM . We will provide transportation to and from the ferry on arrival and departure days.

    • Look for a flight that arrives early morning in SJU on first day of retreat and a departing flight late evening on last day of retreat. This will leave you enough time to get to the island and then back to the main island. Take into consideration once you land in San Juan it is a 60min taxi to ferry port and then a 30 min ferry.

  • Is this retreat coed? 

    • Yes! This retreat is open to all humans! 

  • Do I have to be COVID vaccinated to join? 

    • You do not. We will be asking everyone to arrive with a negative test taken 24 hours prior to flying to Puerto Rico. We will keep you updated on requirements specified by the Puerto Rican government. 

  • What will the food be like? 

    • Delicious, fresh, organic meals will be provided for you made by our private resident chef. You can expect local fruit and veggies and one cultural immersion of locally made Puerto Rican food. *Please let us know prior to booking if you have any food allergies. 

  • Is there a payment plan available?

    • Yes. There is a non-refundable deposit of $800-$1000 to reserve your spot (Depending on room). Pay in full after that or there is an option of 2 payments (plus 5% procession fee), or 3 payments( plus 10% procession fee). All payments must be made 60 days prior to the retreat start date. 

  • What if I have never practiced yoga before/I’m a beginner?

    • Nikki and Sama have been teaching for over 16 years collectively. They have been trained to teach groups of individuals with all different experience levels of yoga. They will make sure you feel safe in your body and help with alignment cues and detailed teachings of asana. Modifications will be given to anyone with injuries or sensitivities.
